S – Schedule your trip

 

A – Arrange for the following:

  • Swab-based RT-PCR test taken 48-72 hours prior to travel to Coron (Recommended hospitals for cheaper RT-PCR test: UP-PGH and PCMC)

  • OR RT-PCR  Saliva-based test (conducted by the Philipppine Red Cross) taken within 72 hour

  • Tourists must have  a confirmed booking of round trip plane or ferry tickets

  • Tourists must have a confirmed booking at a DOT-accredited accommodation

  • Tours must be booked with DOT-accredited travel operators only. Prepare a copy of the itinerary

 

F – File and Register

  • Prior to departure to Coron, all tourists must register at Coron Tourism website WWW.CORONTOURISM.PH for their health declaration form. A QR Code will be issued upon registration that will be used as a pass upon entry to Coron.

 

E – Evaluation and Testing

  • Upon arrival at Francisco B. Reyes Airport, all tourists will undergo a health assessment at the airport’s triage area

  • If symptomatic, an Antigen test will be required to be paid by the tourist. If tested positive, the tourist will be sent to the hotel holding room where they are booked.

  • If determined to have developed severe symptoms, the tourist will be referred immediately to the Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital

  • If tested negative, tourists will be allowed to continue with their booked itinerary

  • COPY OF NEGATIVE RT-PCR TEST RESULT CONDUCTED WITHIN 48-72 HOURS BEFORE THE FLIGHT WITH OFFICIAL RECEIPT

  • ROUND TRIP TICKET

  • CONFIRMED BOOKING WITH CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORITY TO OPERATE HOTELS ISSUED BY DOT (Check website for the list www.corontourism.ph)

  • CONFIRMED TOUR BOOKING WITH LICENSED TOUR OPERATOR (Check website for the list www.corontourism.ph)

  • HEALTH DECLARATION AND QR CODE REGISTRATION www.corontourism.ph

  • VALID ID

All passengers flying to and from any airport in the Philippines must download and register through Traze Contact Tracing, a unified and automated contact tracing app, before proceeding to the airport. This is a requirement of the Philippine Government authorities for ALL international and domestic passengers, whether arriving from or departing from any Philippine airport.

Here are the 3 easy steps to download and register on Traze Contact Tracing app:

1. Download Traze App from App Store, Google Play, Huawei App Store, Vivo or Oppo Store on their mobile phones.

2. Click on Register and tap on “Individual”

3. Start scanning your Traze QR Code at designated areas in the airport terminal.

The use of the app is a directive of the Philippine Department of Transportation to make contact tracing easier, in support of governmental efforts to protect the public during this pandemic. The Traze app complies with Philippine Republic Act 1017 or the Data Privacy Act.

PUBLIC ADVISORY 1:

Coron now accepts RT-PCR Saliva Test Result for Travel Requirements

Here are the complete list of Coron Palawan travel requirements:

1. Negative Result of either a Swab-base RT-PCR test or Saliva-based RT-PCR test (conducted by Philippine Red Cross) taken within 72 hours).

2. Confirmed booking at a DOT Accredited Accommodation and Tour Agencies.

3. Round trip Plane/Ferry Ticket.

4. Health Declaration Form and QR Code.

PUBLIC ADVISORY 2:

The DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM (DOT), through attached marketing and promotions agency, TOURISM PROMOTIONS BOARD (TPB) signed a memorandum  of agreement with the UP-PGH and PCMC to subsidized the RT-PCR test for qualified tourists.

This partnership was forged in a bid to restore confident, safe travel and to the support the gradual reopening of some domestic travel destinations.
